How it all started...
In 2016, Standing Stone Bible Church brought a Dinosaur Fossil Museum to Gretna, Nebraska for our first ever "Dinosaur Days." We also invited a professional speaker to share about this amazing display of museum quality fossils. In addition, as an outreach to the Gretna area, we hosted a carnival with bounce houses, food, and live music. The entire event was a hit! Annually, since that year, SSB hosts Creation Days as an outreach to the community. Creation Days is about sharing God, His Word, His good news, and His amazing creation with our neighbors.
Creation Days 2023 Carnival
Saturday, August 5th, 1 - 5pm
You are invited to our carnival on Saturday, August 5th from 1 to 5pm. This event is entirely free including food, inflatables, facepainting, and live music. A highlight of the carnival will be the Semisaurus (see picture) . This mobile museum takes the creation-evolution debate head-on.
Creation Days 2023 Talks
Annually, we have a speaker share about a wide range of apologetics and creation topics. This year Brian Young, the founder of Creation Instruction Association will join us Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and Monday evening for the following talks:
- Sunday, 8/6, 8:45 am: "Rethinking Adam"
- Sunday, 8/6, 7:00 pm: "Pharaohs of the Bible"
- Monday, 8/7, 7:00 pm: "'Super' natural Selection"
