The Mission
The mission of Standing Stone Bible Church can be found in Colossians 1:27-28: To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.
Christ in you - Our lives acknowledging God's headship
The hope of glory - we enter heaven at death
Him we preach - Jesus is the only gate to heaven
Warning every man - turn from sin, repent!
Teaching every man - Truth must be preached to all
In all wisdom - the truth, the whole truth and nothing but
That we - This is our Christian duty
May present - All will stand before the Judge
Every man - man, woman and child
Perfect - mature, holy, and pure
in Christ Jesus - Jesus is Lord!

Our vision is to "present every person perfect in Christ" or peppiC - it is an EPIC task! Knowing that Jesus is coming to judge and reward, all need to know the truth. Christ is without sin - perfect - and those who repent of their sin and submit to Jesus can be saved, and should continue to grow in Him that they may eventually be presented to Him perfect. Again, an epic task to peppiC - Present every person perfect in Christ.
