Psalm 1
1Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
2but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
3He is like a tree
planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.
4The wicked are not so,
but are like chaff that the wind drives away.
5Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;
6for the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.

Iran conflict (Straight of Hormuz) and our troops in danger
The US:
Immigration/border/human trafficking; debt; drugs; gender confusion/homosexual/living together; CRT/Wokeness; ai dangers; censorship; military/police/fire/border patrol (ICE)/cyber security/Nat'l Guard in US cities; foreign relations; abortion/ivf; sinking drug ships; Greenland
US Gov’t – SCOTUS, POTUS, COTUS – John Thune, Mike Johnson, Donald Trump
Teens: cutting, drugs, suicide, addictions, TikTok, Instagram, mental health

HEALTH:
Barney - lightheadedness during worship yesterday; much better now
Deta K - Fell, fracturing her right kneecap and left foot (left ankle also sprained); minimal pain... another two weeks of boot/brace
Joe & Elaine R -at Mayo clinic
Mike N needing doctor wisdom for back (pain and balance)
Katie Y's foot is much better!
Lowell's eye still has a "blemish" in his vision; retina much better, though. Both he and Betty dealing with a "bug"
Surgery recoveries: Kathy A (sinus infection)
Lacy S - very close friend (Maddie) still on slow road to recovery. Awake but brain still not engaged.
Tami N - immune system improvements & heart weakness
Mary T - recovering from back surgery in June '25 (doctors said 12-month recovery); bursitis is troubling
Those struggling with memory issues
Cancers: Ron M, Joyce N, Joe R, Kathie P, Tami N

James 5:16, Pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. NIV- The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
