Psalm 74
12 For God is my King from of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
13 You divided the sea by Your strength; You broke the heads of the sea serpents in the waters.
14 You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces and gave him as food to the people inhabiting the wilderness
15 You broke open the fountain and the flood; You dried up mighty rivers.
16 The day is Yours, the night also is Yours; You have prepared the light and the sun.
17 You have set all the borders of the earth; You have made summer and winter.
18 Remember that the enemy has reproached, O Lord and that a foolish people has blasphemed Your name
1. God is King from beginning and working the world over!
2. 13-15 God defeated the king of Egypt and led His people out and provided for them
3. God rules the turning of the earth on its axis and rules the celestial bodies
4. God created the earth and its lands and controls its journey around the sun – the seasons.
5. A cry that God remember those who mock and challenge Him
The WORLD –
Israel: Gaza, hostages-one rescued, retaliation threat from Iran
Military, police, fire, border agents
USA: border/debt/drugs/division/gender confusion/protests
Wars: Ukraine, Taiwan, civil wars in Africa
Samaritan’s Purse and others doing similar work
Persecuted Christians: Nigeria, India, N Korea, Iran, Jack Philips and others
Teens: cutting, drugs, suicide, addictions, TikTok, Instagram, mental health
Gov’t - SCOTUS, 46th POTUS, 118th COTUS - Speaker Mike Johnson
the Nov. 5 Election – Jettie doing VIP work
Two abortion measures on the NE ballot
Society: censorship, CRT, WOKE, intersectionality
Morality: trafficking, homosexual, gender confused, abortion
RELATIONSHIPS/SALVATION –
McFarling with state troubles over children rearing
Jail outreach: Ken, Connie, Dick, Jaime
Outreach: Aspire, Dorman’s club, Four the Master quartet
