Christ+ Out of the Rut

In Christ, we have not merely learned ABOUT Jesus; we have learned Christ Himself, and that changes everything. Ephesians 4:22–24 describes the ongoing transformation of our new identity through three movements: put off the old self, be renewed in the spirit of our minds, and put on the new self. We must reject the world’s deceitful thinking, continually reshape our minds with God’s truth, and live in the righteousness and holiness that reflect our new life in Christ.
