The Table of the King of Glory

We are invited to prepare our hearts as we come to the Lord’s Table, recognizing that all creation—and we ourselves—belong to God. The question, “Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord?”, reminds us that none are worthy on their own, but Christ—the One with clean hands and a pure heart—has ascended for us, granting access to God through His righteousness. As we share in communion, we remember that the King of Glory has conquered sin and death and will return again in triumph.
