Holiness That Sees the Lord

For communion, we hear from Hebrews 12 a calling to believers to understand discipline as loving instruction from a Father who desires our holiness. At the Lord’s Table, we remember that our acceptance before God rests not on our obedience, but on the imputed holiness of Christ, whose righteousness is credited to us through the cross. Communion both assures us of God’s favor and trains us to endure, examine ourselves, and walk in holy obedience together.
