Encouraged to Build: When the Glory Feels Small

In Haggai chapter 2, God speaks to a discouraged people who have resumed rebuilding the temple but feel defeated because it seems so small compared to the previous temple's former glory. God does not deny that it looks lesser; instead, He calls them to be strong, keep working, and remember that His presence remains with them. Their small obedience is tied to a far greater future glory, ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ, who would one day enter that temple as the true and greater glory.
