True Vine, True Branches

As we come to Communion, John 15 reminds us that Jesus is the true vine and we are the branches, called to abide in Him to bear spiritual fruit. The table is for those who are in Christ, a tangible reminder of our union with Him, His cleansing of our sin, and His ongoing work in our lives. Just as the vine produces fruit through the branch, our participation in Communion celebrates Christ’s life, death, and love flowing through us.
