An Embodied Christ vs. Disembodied Belief

Dec 7, 2025    Pastor Ken Wombacher

Leading into communion, the message highlighted that Jesus took on a true human body—prepared, present, given, crucified, raised, and now shared through His church—to save sinners who could never save themselves. The incarnation was God’s intentional act to provide a real body that could hunger, suffer, bleed, and die as our substitute. Communion anchors us in this embodied gospel and stands in contrast to the empty, “disembodied” belief Jude warns against.
