Communion: Nourished by Christ, Protected from Idols

This communion message looks at the profound fellowship we share with Christ and one another as believers, emphasizing that true communion is about being “in Him who is true.”  Eternal life is found in knowing God, not merely in ritual or knowledge about Him. There is a subtle idolatry of placing worldly things—like games, sports, or politics—above God. As we partake of the bread and cup, we are reminded to nourish our souls in Christ, experience His presence, and remain mindful that only He can truly satisfy the deepest longings of our hearts.
