The message for communion traces the unfolding story of redemption showing how God’s promise of a Savior culminates in the suffering servant described in Isaiah 53. Through the cross, Jesus willingly bore our sin, satisfied God’s wrath, and brought our reconciliation with God. Communion is an invitation to remember that Jesus’ sacrifice was not accidental, but God’s purposeful plan to redeem, heal, and restore us.
