In the message, as Ephesians moves from the BEING of chapters 1–3 into the WALK of chapters 4–6, Paul reminds us that our identity in Christ is meant to shape how we live together as His people. His prayer in Ephesians 3 is not merely that individual believers would know the love of Christ, but that we would comprehend it “with all the saints”—together with the body of Christ. Scripture consistently presents believers as a people who gather, encourage one another, stir one another toward love and good works, and walk together in humility, gentleness, patience, and love. The early church devoted themselves to fellowship and met together regularly, while Hebrews 10 calls believers to increasingly gather and encourage one another as the Day approaches. Our participation in the church is therefore not primarily about what we get from gathering, but about how we give ourselves to others—and even something as simple as showing up can make a difference in someone else's life.

Membership  & Baptisms - We occasionally have classes for each of these.  Beginning in September, we will have a membership class during the SS hour.  This is primarily for any who desire to become official SSB members.  It is seven weeks of information and helps to give you information you need.  There is a pre-requisite that you've gone through our information class and have a gospel testimony.    

In addition, we would gladly put together a baptism class if you desire to be baptised.  Let one of the elders know of your interest and we will have you go through some prerequisite lessons.

Columbia Missions Exposure Trip - In January, a few of our folks will be heading to Columbia, South America to share the gospel with a few groups of people in the southern part of the country.  This will be an active trip as they travel by boat along the river basin and hike to get to villages.  A few of our SSB folks are committed to going.  Others may still join - what about you?   Let Jaime know if you are interested in participating or even financially assisting a few in the journey.  

Please be in prayer for this trip and these people to be open to hearing of salvation in Christ.
